About Richard Dell, Jr.:

Mr. Dell spent more than twenty years in a variety of technical and management positions in software development, workforce education, large project management and strategic planning. He has developed educational programs to teach strategic planning, project management, and international business development.

The Advanced Vehicle Research Center was founded in 2002 by his father, and has continued to develop as a collaborative-research driven organization. AVRC expanded into Danville Virginia in 2008 and offers a new engineering building and adjacent off-road testing facility at a cost of approximately $5,000,000 involving state, local and federal support.

The AVRC has done Department of Energy work on ethanol efficiency and hydrogen refueling. The company is now focused on commercialization of new breakthrough technologies as well as plug-in hybrid conversions and charging station installation. AVRC is the fleet service operations center for A123/Hymotion in the Southeast.

Mr. Dell attended Franklin and Marshall University in Lancaster, PA.and has worked for IBM, Cellular One, Electronic Arts and several other smaller organizations driven by applied research and intellectual property valuation.
