John Updyke, Engineering Product Manager, Drive Train Division, The Hilliard Corporation: "Enhanced Vehicle Traction with Automatic Locking Differentials"

The Hilliard Corporation’s Drive Train Division produces automatic locking front and rear differentials for off-highway applications, in addition to specialty clutch products for that same industry. As more vehicle and equipment manufacturers are looking to "go green", Hilliard is promoting the use of their drive train products to help "keep it green". The unique functionality and benefits of the Hilliard locking differential products promotes superior traction without sacrificing maneuverability or operating range. This equates to higher vehicle efficiency due to reduced tire spin; keeping the "green surfaces" green instead of leaving areas of turf damage from the spinning tires.
